Teresa M. Dorr is a Senior Consultant in NHB Advisors, Inc. Florida satellite office, and part of its Fiduciary Services Group 

Prior to joining NHB Advisors, Inc., Ms. Dorr practiced as an attorney at Fox Rothschild, LLP and Buchanan Ingersoll & Rooney PC for almost ten years.  Her practice focused on the area of financial restructuring and creditors’ rights, representing chapter 11 debtors, creditors’ committees and trustees in both chapter 11 and chapter 7 bankruptcies in New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Delaware.  She has represented businesses in the internet, construction, printing, retail furniture and nursing home industries.  Ms. Dorr also has extensive experience representing plaintiffs and defendants in preference actions, and conducting analyses for both the prosecution and defense of such actions.  She has conducted claim analyses and prepared and prosecuted claims objections in several cases.  Ms. Dorr’s trial experience includes denying discharge and dismissal of petitions for bad faith. 

NHB Advisors, Inc. is not a law firm and does not provide legal services.  Ms. Dorr will assist NHB Advisor’s Fiduciary Services Group in such areas as plan administration, liquidating trustee services, analysis of avoidance actions, assignment for the benefit of creditors and receivership.

Teresa Dorr is a graduate of Temple University, where she obtained a J.D. and an LL.M. in Taxation, and of The Pennsylvania State University, where she obtained a B.S. in Administration of Justice.  Ms. Dorr is admitted to the bars of Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Florida, but does not actively practice law.  She is a member of the Turnaround Management Association (TMA), the American Bankruptcy Institute (ABI) and the International Women’s Insolvency and Restructuring Confederation.
