Cary David Hansing

Senior Consultant

Cary David Hansing is a Senior Consultant at NHB Advisors, Inc.  He is an experienced consultant on a variety of issues relating to fiduciary services and bankruptcy engagements. He has proven success for clients on a variety of specialized tasks during important phases in transitions, wind downs, bankruptcy proceedings, and post-bankruptcy sales.  

Mr. Hansing has strategically assisted clients ranging in focus from specific regional areas to international markets across a wide range of industries including steel, heavy industrial manufacturing, healthcare, aviation, printing, and retail. He focused on coordinating client tasks on a variety of issues including recoveries from potential fraudulent and preferential transactions, account receivables, compliance, worker compensation and retirement programs.

Mr. Hansing has joined NHB Advisors, Inc. from Jack B. Fishman & Associates, P.C., a leading firm specializing in fiduciary and bankruptcy services. He provided guidance in certain areas for clients including transactional analysis regarding fraudulent conveyances and preferential transactions, claims by vendors, reviews of distribution schedules, and tax issues. Also, Mr. Hansing coordinated efforts in case management activities for clients to efficiently maneuver through various judicial and administrative processes. 
  
Previously, Mr. Hansing was employed as Vice President and Senior Consultant at Novare, Inc., a leading, service provider specializing in fiduciary services and bankruptcy engagements. He supervised efforts for the analysis and pursuit of adversary actions for preferential transfers, fraudulent conveyances, uncollected property, and post-petition transactions. Mr. Hansing coordinated efforts on claim reconciliation processes, worker compensation issues, matters scheduled for Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR), and various human resource issues regarding the wind down of 401(k) plans, closing of office locations and client facilities, transition to temporary corporate offices for engagements, preservation of historical records and personnel files.

Mr. Hansing is an ABA Paralegal and active in several service groups and professional organizations including the American Bankruptcy Institute.
