Anthony M. Horvat, CIRA

Managing Director

Anthony Horvat is a Managing Director with NHB Advisors, Inc.  He is an experienced executive with over 20 years experience in leading business change and improvement, having served as an interim CFO, CEO, and CRO for clients in a variety of industries.  He is skilled in business reorganization, strategic repositioning including divestitures and acquisitions, financial analysis, creditor negotiation, public reporting, and developing and implementing business turnaround plans.

Prior to joining NHB Advisors, Inc., Mr. Horvat was an Operating Principal at Versa Capital Management, where he recently served as interim President and CEO for a U.S.-headquartered manufacturer with production operations in Europe and China.  Previously, Mr. Horvat was a Director in the Turnaround and Restructuring practice at AlixPartners, LLC.  While there, his activities included leading business restructurings in the automotive, consumer products, telecommunications, capital equipment manufacturing, environmental services, chemical production, construction and casino/gaming industries.  He has held positions in operations, finance, accounting, treasury and strategic management in turnaround engagements ranging from businesses with $100 million to $40 billion in revenue.

Anthony Horvat is a graduate of The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania, where he obtained his MBA, and Princeton University, where he obtained a BSE degree.  He is a Certified Insolvency and Restructuring Advisor, and a member of the American Bankruptcy Institute.
