Eric M. Huebscher is a Director at NHB Advisors, Inc.  He has over 25 years of management experience in various industries, including aerospace and defense, insurance operations, real estate and healthcare.  In the healthcare industry, he served as Assistant Controller for the HIP Health Plan of New York, co-founded a physician practice management company specializing in the long term care industry and most recently founded a unique medical practice model of providing eye care to residents in assisted living communities throughout New York City.

Mr. Huebscher is supportive of NHB’s business development activities in healthcare, where he provides guidance to the healthcare industry on cost structure, provider and payor issues, governance, revenue optimization and related matters.  He analyzes all areas of the healthcare spectrum, and provides guidance and firm direction in these areas.  In addition, Mr. Huebscher has been part of the development of the automotive dealer group at NHB.  His activities have included on-site monitoring of dealership operations and activities, working with creditors counsel, expert testimony in Federal and State Courts and related other activities.

Prior to joining NHB, Mr. Huebscher had managerial roles in the aerospace and defense in dustry, where he managed several product lines for a division of United Technologies and managed audit engagements for AXA Insurance in the real estate and insurance operations areas.  He also has several years of experience in public accounting with Touche Ross and Co. (predecessor to Deloitte).

Eric Huebscher earned a bachelor’s degree from State University of New York at Brockport, and an MBA in Finance from Adelphi University.  He is a Certified Public Accountant and a Certified Fraud Examiner.

Mr. Huebscher holds dual American and Austrian citizenships and is able to work in the European Union.
