Roy E. Humphrey is a Director at NHB Advisors, Inc. He has over 25 years of management and business consulting experience in the manufacturing and distribution industries. His previous responsibilities in Plant Management have included profit and loss management, departmental budgets, strategic planning, and employee development. He specializes in teaching and implementing Lean/Demand Flow® and Six Sigma business strategies for companies seeking a competitive edge through improved response and quality while reducing costs and working capital.
Mr. Humphrey supports NHB’s business development in manufacturing and other industries. He analyzes a company’s competitive position and strategy, and provides management expertise for process optimization and improved financial position. Mr. Humphrey also supports NHB automotive dealership clients analyzing financial positions, monitoring assets, and developing turnaround strategies.
Prior to joining NHB, Mr. Humphrey held senior positions in business consulting firms, where he was responsible for teaching and implementing Lean/Demand Flow® business strategies domestically and internationally. He also has held Plant Management positions where he has successfully improved profitability and quality.
As a Lean/Demand Flow® business professional, Mr. Humphrey has consulted for companies such as GE Power Generation, GE Motors, GE Aircraft Engines, Stanley Tools, Minimed, C & D Aerospace, Spectranetics, Lam Research, Phillips Industries, API Heat Transfer, Ingersol Rand, Timex, Colorado Medtech/HEI, Inc., and Other Industry Leaders. He has worked in and for medical device manufacturing companies and is knowledgeable of FDA and other regulatory agencies. While with NHB, he has worked with a metal stamping facility in Cleveland serving the auto industry while also working with an aluminum recycling and melting company to optimize processes and reduce costs.
Roy Humphrey earned a bachelor’s degree from Denver University, and MBA in Finance and Accounting from the University of Colorado. He has earned APICS and Six Sigma Black Belt certification, and is a member of the Turnaround Management Association.
