Angela C. Phillips

Angela Phillips is a Senior Consultant in the Wilmington office of NHB Advisors, Inc. Ms. Phillips has been an active turnaround professional for over seven years, and previously spent fifteen years in the banking industry in loan administration and as a loan officer, including restructuring and workout.  

Ms. Phillips has broad experience in many industries, and has specialized in advising clients on financial restructuring and in obtaining debt and equity capital.  She has assisted clients in creating financial models and in their budgeting processes.  In selected cases, she has managed orderly wind-downs and liquidations, including creating liquidation plans and budgets.  Additionally, Ms. Phillips has provided forensic investigation services, and is a Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist with experience in serving the financial services industry .

Prior to joining NHB Advisors, Angela Phillips was a Manager with the forensic and dispute practice of Deloitte Financial Advisory Services, LLP, and was previously Vice President of Phoenix Management Services, Inc., a national turnaround management advisory firm.

Ms. Phillips is currently a candidate for the Certified Turnaround Professional (CTP) credential.  She also serves as Treasurer of the International Women’s Insolvency and Restructuring Confederation of Delaware (IWIRC-DE), and is a member of the Turnaround Management Association (TMA) and the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE).

Angela Phillips is a graduate of the University of Delaware, where she obtained her M.B.A. and B.S. degrees in business administration and finance.  She also previously held Series 7, 24, 27 & 63 certifications from the National Association of Securities Dealers.
