Drew Swanfeldt is a Consultant in the Dallas office of NHB Advisors, Inc.  He has over three years experience in public accounting, with a primary focus on federal and state income taxation.

Prior to joining NHB Advisors, Inc., Drew was a Senior Consultant in the taxation practice of Deloitte LLP.  As a member of Deloitte’s Tax Management Advisory Group, he assisted clients in designing and implementing the tax portion of large, Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software solutions.  The majority of Drew’s experience came as a member of the engagement team currently working on the implementation project at Sysco Corporation in Houston, Texas.

After completing his graduate degree in accounting, Drew began his career as a tax associate with Turner Stone and Company, a CPA firm in Dallas.  While at Turner Stone, Drew prepared and completed federal and state income tax returns for a variety of clients, including individuals and businesses.  Drew has experience preparing tax returns for a variety of industries including residential construction, real estate, and manufacturing.  While at Turner Stone he also spearheaded the transition from a paper-based client file system to a computerized, paperless client file system for the entire tax department.

Drew is a graduate of the Tobin Graduate School of Business at St. John’s University in Jamaica, New York, where he earned a Master of Science in Accountancy.  He completed his bachelor’s degree in accounting at the University of Oklahoma.  He is a member of the American Institute of CPAs (AICPA), and the Texas Society of CPAs (TSCPA).  He is a Certified Public Accountant licensed in Texas, but does not actively practice accountancy.
